Why is sulphur not a good conductor?

Sulfur is a nonmetal on the periodic table. Sulfur, like all nonmetals are very poor conductors of heat and electricity. Their bonds are very weak and their structures are not dense. For example, most nonmetals like sulfur and carbon are less dense than water while all metals are more dense than water.
