I need good advice on if I should pick Verizon or Cingular?

I am going to be getting my own indivdual plan. Right now I have cingular and most of all my other friends have Verizon. I want enough talking time so I do not have to pay extra i usally have like 750-800 mins. of talking minutes. I text more then anything. I want the unlimited nights and wkends. I miss being able to download ringtones from the internet ect.. they call that "data" I guess..and pic and video texting which i have niether on my cingular phone cause it will be an additional $40 to my bill each month. Now that I am paying $20 extra from unlimted texting. I have been looking at the Cingular website and I see that now you have to pay an extra $20 a month for most phones which is some stupid service that I know i wont even use..cause they tried selling that feature when I got my Samsung BlackJack 2 yrs ago...Im not picking one over the other I just want to know what would be the best plan for me without the gimic bull...thanks
