Why is urine dirty?

urine really isn't dirty, it just has that reputation bc it's its a bodily waste and comes out of the body close to where (and goes in the potty with) fecal matter, which really is dirty, is excreted. It's actually sterile becuase of its ammonia content (which is what causes that acid-like smell). drinking it really isn't a good idea, unless you boil it and separate out all the actual wastes from the water. I think people aren't usually grossed out by our own urine, its just the idea of coming into contact with other people's urine because everyone has a different diet, some do drugs that are ped in urine, medications, etc. So its still a good idea to wash your hands, because do you really want someone else's THC or Methamphetamine positive urine in your food on your hand? I really don't, even if it is sterile. If you ever watch Penn and Teller's BS, in like season 2 i think, they did some tests and actually found that the dirtiest parts of most people's bodies are their hands and faces, not our bums or l/ areas. so bump s, don't shake hands.
