SHould I get clic tall or short UGG boots?

Okay, so next weekend I'm going shopping at Nordstroms and I am going to buy myself a pair of new, authentic UGG's. Sure, they are a little pricey, but I've had a pair before and they are made with such good quality! They are so worth the money! Now I was just wondering, should I buy the low-tops or high-tops, I want them to go over my skinny jeans, (I wear them like that 80% of the time) but I don't want them to go to my knee! Which ones should I get??
