Is Haitian Divorce regognized in IL?

I was married in the US (2 months) went back to the Philippines and couldnt get in touch with my spouse, where before he agreed to file the divorce. I am contemplating on going to Haiti when the court system will resume after the quake to file a Unilateral Divorce ( One signature divorce since I cannot find/get in touch with the man I married before). I dont have a visa to go back to the US so Haiti is a choice since Filipinos can travel to Haiti without any visa. Will the state of ILLINOIS honor a divorce from Haiti? Thank you.
