Whats wrong with this offer???

Sounds like a foreign scam to me! It doesn't sound legitimate or legal at all from what I read. I would try to do some serious online research to see what info I could find on this "job offer" in question. Whatever your friend does, tell him do not send any money or give out any personal info such as ss number, bank account e.t.c. to his person!
