What Does this Solenoid Valve do? ?

it looks like when you apply a voltage, the valve is open, but it doesn't say how quick a voltage pulse you can apply and how quickly it will close, nor the operating pressure or what type of voltage is needed. I'd look elsewhere. 80PSI sounds high, and how sure are you that no static or electric discharge will occur and ignite your propane?
