How do i change the Auto-formatting options on MS Word?

I'm making a website on microsoft word but every time it looks fine in the word viewing panel, all the images and text boxes become misaligned in browser (i've tested this in safari and firefox), and also I'd like to know how to prevent the automatic underlining happening on hyperlinks. It looks bad and causes me much irritation. Ta!
