Boy troubles please help?

it might take you a while to read all i have to write i like this guy and he always tells everyone Im his best friend but I guess he tells everyone their his best friend and he jokes around and says I stalk him cause we have so many cles together when he talks to me he looks me straight in the eyes instead of just looking around and he always talks to me but my best friend devon told me that he has a girlfriend already and today in the computer lab he asked me to sit right next to him and my other friend niki thinks hes a freak and told me not to sit there and he said why not shes my best friend so he got up and moved away and me and him hang around each other so much that everyone asks him if he likes me and he just looks aound and says ummmm nooo no noooo way shes just my best friend but the way he says it makes me think hes likes me and i really like him Im really shy when it comes to crushes even though im outgoing and funny when im just talking to them so i asked devon to ask him if he likes me and shes gonna do it tommorrow but im worried cause she said she was gonna do it during homeroom while im around and he might come up to me does he like me?
